Ty Vanderkolk
Ty graduated from Purdue in 1992 with a degree in Construction Management. After gaining early experience with a production home builder, he returned to join the family business, Ty took over ownership of JVC in 2000 and has been leading the company’s growth and craftsmanship ever since. His decades of experience and dedication to quality continue to shape the foundation of every project we build.
Part Owner & Project Manager
Seth Graves
Seth joined the team in March 2007 as a carpenter and quickly proved himself through hard work, skill, and dedication to the craft. Over the years, his leadership earned him a promotion to Lead Project Manager, where he plays a key role in guiding projects from start to finish. Today, Seth is also a part owner of JVC, contributing to all aspects of the business and helping drive the company’s continued success.

Kali Ferger
Kali has been part of our team since her high school summers, where she first discovered her love for hands-on work and building things in the field. After graduating, she joined us full-time in 2017 and has been growing with the company ever since. Over the years, Kali has gained a deep understanding of our operations and now plays a vital role in the office as our full-time bookkeeper.
Interior Designer
Maddy House
Maddy earned her degree in Interior Design from Purdue University and joined JVC in May 2022. She loves seeing her designs come to life and the joy they bring to clients. Maddy creates the majority of our project drawings and works closely with homeowners to turn their ideas into thoughtfully designed spaces that fit their vision perfectly.

Andy Kensinger
Andy’s journey with JVC began in high school, working summer jobs and learning the trade from the ground up. After graduating from Vincennes University in 2010, he came back full-time and now serves as one of our team leaders. Along with leading projects and specializing in finish work, Andy plays a big part in guiding our crew and making sure each job stays on track.

Scott Fassoth
Scott has been with JVC since 2012, bringing framing experience all the way from Texas. One of his favorite parts of the job is the variety — no two days are ever the same. Whether he’s tackling a new build or a different type of project, Scott enjoys staying busy and working with his hands.

Tavis Jackson
Tavis has been part of the JVC team since 2014. Before that, he spent close to 20 years working as a lead framer, building the kind of hands-on experience you can’t teach. Today, he leads all kinds of projects for us — from framing and basement finishes to even some electrical work — and is known for being reliable, skilled, and easy to work with.

Vince Coors
Vince has over 20 years of experience working on decks and siding. He takes pride in doing quality work, treating every home like it’s his own, and making sure the job gets done right. Vince focuses on results that look great and hold up for years to come.

Mike Talley
Mike joined JVC in 2024 bringing extensive framing experience and a strong foundation in structural craftsmanship. From day one, he made an immediate impact with his commitment to doing things the right way. Mike plays a key role in ensuring our builds are solid from the ground up.

Matt came on board in 2022 and hit the ground running. Even with minimal experience at the start, he learned fast and developed a real talent for the work. Now, he’s the one we count on for kitchen and bathroom projects, where his skills and confidence really shine.

Patrick joined our team in 2023 after making the move from Florida, bringing with him a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. He quickly proved himself to be a dependable team member and a fast learner, picking up new skills and responsibilities with confidence.

Kevan joined our team in 2023 with limited experience but has grown tremendously in a short amount of time. He has developed into a top-tier asset and a reliable support to our crew leaders.

Leland joined our team in 2024. Whether he’s delivering materials or helping set beams, he approaches every task with a positive attitude. His willingness to help wherever needed — combined with an infectious smile — brings great energy to the jobsite and makes him a valued member of our crew.

Mallory joined the team in 2024 as our Social Media Manager and has since transitioned into office operations and systems implementation, where she plays a key role in improving efficiency and organization across the company!
